NEW LIFE RESOLUTIONS for New Year
Congregation Beth Tefilla is a Messianic Fellowship made up of both Jewish and non-Jewish believers in the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). It is a interdenominational congregation with the goal of sharing the Good News that the Messiah LIVES, and he alone can SAVE. The Rabbi Saul (better known as the Apostle Paul) declared in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the Good News, since it is God's powerful means of bringing salvation to everyone who keeps on trusting, to the Jew especially, but equally to the Gentile." - Romans 1:16 (Complete Jewish Bible).
The words Beth Tefilla mean HOUSE OF PRAYER. It was used by God through the prophet Isaiah where he said "Even those I will bring to My holy mountain. And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar;
For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples." (56:7, New American Standard Bible).
Are you SURE you'll go to heaven? If not, you MUST ask God right now to forgive all your sins!
Do you know where you are going when you die? If not, then what you need to do is put your trust and faith in the Messiah of Israel - the Lord Yeshua (Jesus). He came to this earth approximately 2000 years ago. He lived in the land of Israel during the time that the Romans ruled the country. He obeyed all the Jewish laws according to the Torah (Old Testament). Then at the age of 30 years old he started his earthly ministry.
After approximately 3 and 1/2 years he died on a cross as human sacrifice for the sins of the world to fulfill Isaiah 53, Psalm 22 and the picture type prophecy of Abraham offering up his son Isaac in Genesis 22. Plus 100's of other prophecies that he fulfilled. Then on the 3rd day after he was crucified he rose again from the dead. And now we are waiting for him to come again in the clouds of glory to rapture his followers home.
So if you would like to know where you are going when you die and be ready for him when he comes back let me encourage you to pray this prayer. Or else, pray a prayer similar to this one from your heart: Dear God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and of Jacob, I repent for all of my sins. I ask you cover my sins with the precious blood of the Lamb - the Lord Yeshua (Jesus). And I ask you to come into my heart and give me new life. I pray all these things in the name of the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah, amen.
